The course aims to simplify the process of reflecting on and creating an effective marketing strategy by breaking it down into clear, manageable steps.

This course is different in that we place the focus on the customer’s journey. Accurately identifying their needs, wants and struggles allows us to position our messaging to best meet their needs.

Over the last five years, I have mentored over 20 small business owners and have seen the stress caused by unclear customer identification, messaging, and channel selection– strategy can can help address these issues and alleviate the anxiety.

Each student’s journey is unique, but the course provides a step-by-step guide with personalized support to help each student thrive.

I believe anyone can learn with the proper guidance, that’s why I break down complex topics into simple, easy-to-digest lessons.

My aim is for students to intuitively understand marketing based on their experiences and to apply day-to-day reflections to their work or business. Marketing is a tool, and its concepts and frameworks are meant to be applied for better results.

This approach is akin to planning a trip, where answering basic questions about your budget, duration, destination, and companions creates a more stress-free, enjoyable experience.

Each session in this course is meticulously designed to enhance understanding and bring clarity to key marketing concepts. The structure of every class includes:

  • An engaging introduction: Setting the stage for the topic to be discussed, ensuring students are primed and ready for learning.
  • In-depth exploration of concepts: Focusing on step-by-step strategy building, we delve into essential concepts and frameworks relevant to marketing.
  • Interactive exercises: Hands-on activities are integrated into each session, allowing students to apply what they’ve learned in a practical context.
  • Personalized guidance and feedback: As an instructor, I provide continuous, tailored feedback throughout each step of the strategy development process. The online course spans three sessions, each lasting up to two hours for a total of six hours (delivered in real-time), combining in-depth instruction with ample interaction to make for an immersive learning experience.

Post-course, students are given up to two weeks to finalize their strategy document. This period is crucial for them to apply their learnings and draft a well-thought-out strategy.

The course culminates in a two-hour one-on-one mentorship session, where I provide in-depth feedback and suggestions on students’ final strategies.

This holistic approach ensures that by the end of the eight-hour course, each student is equipped with a robust, actionable marketing strategy tailored to their specific needs.

  • Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Learning how to allocate resources effectively and set budgets for marketing campaigns.
  • Analytics and Measurement: Using data analytics to measure the success of marketing campaigns and make informed decisions.
  • Emerging Trends and Technologies: Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in the marketing landscape.
